What Causes Rash Around The Head Of Penis?
Question: Hello,
I have a rash on the tip of my penis and it's very itchy and red. However a few days ago I had sex for the first time without protection, but she does not have any STDs. Also I was diagnosed with Orchitis around the same time and was put on levofloxacin. What can I do for the itchiness? And what could it be?

Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the photograph.
It is looking like an allergic reaction.
You might have developed allergy to any product used by your partner.
I treat such cases with a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone.
It gives good response within a week.
You can try this in consultation with your doctor.
Take an antihistamine tablet to relieve itch.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
