What Causes Rashes Around The Vagina After Taking Contraceptive Injection?

Question: Over the last week after my period started I've developed what looks like ulcers around my vagina and anal area. I've been doing some research and I'm quite concerned it could be herpes as I've been suffering some of the usual signs and symptons of herpes (flu like symptoms headache and aching body).
However I'm not sure how I could have caught herpes as I'm in a committed relationship and my boyfriend has been tested.
I receieved a contraceptive injection on the day my period started for the first time and have been getting a reaction from it (nausea and pimples) and was wondering if it could be something do to with the injection?
I'm quite concerned and confussed and any information would be helpful.
Thank you,

Brief Answer:
Herpes ulcer are very painful
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
The rash or ulcers which you have noticed are definitely not related to contraceptive injection. Contraceptive injection are not known to cause genital lesion.
Herpes ulcer are usually very painful. If the lesion are associated with itching possibility of fungal infection has to be considered.
It would be very helpful if you could get back to me with clinical photograph. Diagnosis of skin pathology requires good visual examination.
Waiting for your reply.
Take care
