Mine was a benign phyllodes tumor, and i do understand that reoccurance is common, but can it reoccure in less than a month?
Brief Answer:
It is normal in most cases
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thank you for your query.
In your case particularly lump is mostly due to blood clotting so no need to worry. Just take antibiotic.
Normally it is not re-occur in a benign tumor in a month but rarely if tumor is not removed properly or completely than there is a chance of re-occurrence.
In some cases infection after surgery is common and that might result in such lump feeling but if you take antibiotic properly according to advice than possibility of infection is rare.
But to differentiate local examination is necessary.
So consult your treating doctor.
Thank you
