Brief Answer:
Best to meet doctor as infection is recurrent sir

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like to know that I am here to help.

The doctor who previously prescribed linezolid himself/herself was in fact trying to treat a tough infection I am assuming. What is most important to note in your case sir, is that your infection seems to be recurrent. In such a scenario, I would strongly recommend an endoscopy of the upper respiratory tract, to rule out any possible underlying causes for the same. A chest x-ray may also be beneficial.

As for medication, I think the following should help, but make sure you take the complete course and do not discontinue the same:
+Tablet Azithromycin 500 mg 1-0-1 x 7 days
+Tablet disprin MD (mouth dissolvable) - to be dissolved in 1 glass of lukewarm water and gargled. Please spit out after gargling, do not swallow. Take 5-7 days (as long as pain or discomfort in the throat is present)
+Tantum or Betadine mouthwash: Gargle one cup three times a day
+Keep sipping lukewarm water through the day

The above given medications should help, but I still strongly advice you to visit your doctor and get thoroughly examined and treated, as respiratory infections are best treated under the supervision of a doctor sir. So please do consider visiting your doctor and getting elaborately evaluated.

I hope you find my response helpful sir. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
