What Causes Recurrent Pain In Lower Left Abdomen And Groin Area?

Question: I have pain in left groin area for about one minute then it comes back another minute, then goes away then comes back ,white fixing lunch, now gone away completely. I have had symtoms of diviticulotis or IBS the last 15-20 days the pain in left top of stomach has gone completely. I have had a lot of urinary tract pain but gone away since quit drinking grape juice. I have been to a PA and very Good doctot no infection temp ok , been taking janumet and Diovan about 15plus years for diabetes

Lower left abdominal/groin area is where several issues can cause the pain. It can be urinary tract infection/stones, inguinal hernia, muscles tendons inflammation or even large intestine issues (diverticulitis can give such pain as well).

As you have had urinary tract pain, stone can be causing this or even infection.
Inguinal hernia usually gives a protrusion or lump in the pain area. The pain can be more intense when coughing or lifting heavy objects.

Muscle tendons inflammation is possible if you perform some physical activity regularly.

I suggest you to have some tests. Urine analysis, blood work and ultrasound should be done at first. You should also consider colonoscopy if it has not been done recently.
