Brief Answer:
Might be Herpes virus infection, Pemphigus, topical steroids application..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain small ruptures or sores in mouth that can heal within a day and recurs can be cold sores caused by Herpes Simplex Virus 1..
It can also pe Pemphigus or bullous Pemphegoids..
At times it does not need to be anything specific and can be Recurring Apthous Ulcers or Canker Sores..

You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
He can clinical examine the ulcers and can also advise you investigations like culture of scraping from the ulcers, blood tests to look for viral infection as well as check for deficiencies of Iron and Vitamin B12..

As of now I would suggest applying antiseptic ointment like Chlorohexidine and steroid like Triamcinolone Acetonide. Do warm saline gargles. Gargle with soda bicarb solution..

Any further queries are most welcome..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Mucocele can appear at same position, nothing abnormal..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome Again..

As per your query, mucocele is a mucous cyst that is formed due to either rupture of the duct of minor salivary gland secondary to trauma or due to clogged duct of the salivary gland due to formation of small stones..

As it heals within a day and is not causing discomfort there is no need to do anything as Mucocele is harmless..
In case if there is any discomfort or concern, you can consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated when the mucocele is present..
He can do a surgical removal of the same for permanent resolution..

Any further questions are welcome..

Thanks and regards..
