What Causes Red And Swollen Bumps On The Penis?

Question: In the past few years every now and then I get a few tiny little pearly bumps on the base of my penis where the scrotum meets the penis. It's usually red and swollen with little pearly pimple like bumps on it. When my clothes rub against it, it starts to itch. Sometimes it just itches on its own free will. They never last very long maybe a week or two. In the past I have popped the pearly pimple like bumps and the liquid (or whatever it is) comes out clear then it scabs up.... What could this be? Do I have herpes?

Hi,

I have reviewed the attached image. This looks like a cluster of fluid filled vesicles. Fluid filled rashes on the genitals always raise the possibility of herpes infection. Though this is not very clear and the vesicles look many more than would be expected for recurrent helpers infection, I will recommend that you get tested for herpes. This way, we would be able to tell with precision what this represents.

What can you tell me about your sexual life? Have you had many sexual partners and with unprotected intercourse? Also, do you feel sever pains when you have these rashes?
