What Causes Red Dots On The Glans Penis?

Question: Hello
Over the past 24-48hrs i have been noticing small painless red dots on the glans of my penis. They are not itchy and do not hurt.
I am circumsized and i know this is not STD related as i have been in a monogamous relationship for 10 years.
The red dots appear and then within a few hours fade away/clear up, only to eventually pop up another place on my glans.
So far ive noticed this for about 4-5 small dots.
Any idea what this is likely to be?
