What Causes Red Mark On My Lower Leg?

Question: What is this red mark on my lower leg? it has been there for quite sometime. it doesn't hurt, or itch or anything. It doesn't really bother me at all but I'm not sure what it is.

I am so sorry to hear about this rash that you have reported. This rash seem suggestive of a superficial fungal infection called ringworm. However, ringworm often itches and grow progressively over time. I will like to know if this rash has been increasing slowly in size over time. The treatment of this is usually an anti fungal cream such as miconazole to be applied twice daily for 10days. I will recommend you try this and if it fails to get resolved, then we would need to do some more detailed investigations to pinpoint the exact nature and handle accordingly.

I also have this rash on my foot the same side as the rash on my leg. would they be related?

I have seen the image. This looks like an allergy as well. For now, get started with the drug and we would review the effectiveness. Like i mentioned, if there is no major change within a week, then we would have to dig deeper.
