What Causes Red Rash On Wrist, Pain In Arms, Fatigue, Dizziness And Nausea?

Question: I had a small pin prick red dot flat rash on the back of my hand/wrist that has completely vanished after a day

It was not a large section but I had a blood test on Wednesday revealing my ESR level was slightly elevated
After it vanished four lines of the Same rash appeared on the upper part of the same arm however it wasn't in a circle they were lines and was a darker red colour but it was exactly the same rash type but these have also faded and nearly vanished also

Now this rash has appeared I'm scared it's endocartitis because my ESR could be even higher now and accompanied with my other symptoms, severe fatigue, pain in neck and arms and back of ribs when breathing, dizziness and nausea I think I've got endocartitis can anyone help by giving me advice?

I had an echocardiogram in May that was completely normal and I had a ct angiogram scan in XXXXXXX and that was normal too

Could I have contracted endocartitis in this time since my last scans? I've included pictures of the hand rash that disappeared after a day and my scan results from XXXXXXX

I've seen my own doctor yesterday and he said my scans cleared me of endocartitis and the rash was an allergic reaction but I'm not allergic to anything and I think it's petechia so I'm wary

Brief Answer:
Hemoculture is advised...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history and understood your concerns.

At this point, I advise to do hemoculture (blood culture). If it is negative, then, no endocarditis. If positive, then, should repeat cardiac echo and if it's normal than run a transesophageal echo.

Hope it helped!

How would I go about getting a blood culture test? I requested one to my own gp the other day and he wouldn't XXXXXXX it due to him saying I won't have endocartitis because of my ct angiogram scan

Brief Answer:
Choose another gp...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Then, change GP. Hemoculture is needed to definitely determine whether you have endocarditis or not.

I've been to the emergancy room today and explained my situation and advice you have given me and the dr said the skew of tests I've already had has excluded any heart problems and I should see a psychiatrist because I'm obviously obsessed with my heart!

He didn't even seem to acknowledge me when I mentioned my rash probably because it's disappeared and he said his boss has told him not to waste time doing any more tests because I've only just had my bloods and X-ray done early in the week
The did an ecg and my obs he sounded my chest said it was clear and no heart murmer he looked at my finger nails and tongue and felt my tummy and said to get therapy
What do you think I should do?

Hi back,

Even in case you might be obsessed with your heart, if I was your caring doctor would insist in running hemoculture in order to exclude endocarditis. If the test is negative, I'd be able to :
- confirm the diagnosis
- make you feel at peace that you do not have endocarditis.
