Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these different symptoms and disease conditions that you have reported. I understand how difficult it gets managing so many different disease conditions with no clear diagnosis and management plan. For sure it is a very and complex group of symptoms that would need that you work close with your physicians to try to understand what is really going on.
I have read through your post several times. These symptoms raise the suspicion of a possible autoimmune disease going on. And one auto immune disease is aways a greater risk factor for another autoimmune disease. The rash, possible thyroid disease, arthritis(rheumatoid?), hair loss, Sjogrens, Raynauds', esophageal motility disorder, difficulties to reach and lift(myositis?), etc are all suggestive.
It takes a comprehensive clinical and laboratory investigations to understand what could be going on individually and collectively. For this, I will suggest that you stick to your daughter. Answers would not be obtained in a day or may be weeks, but continued and sustained efforts would make the way forward even easier to walk. Changing doctors would only make the task a lot more difficult.
Who to see first is a general physician. An internal medicine specialist who listens to you and is willing to work with you. After a preliminary evaluation and treatment plan, he would be able to coordinate care and direct you to the other specialist whose inputs would be vital for a complete understanding and treatment of your condition(s). I must let you know it will not be an easy task and the final diagnosis difficult to say.
In all, your conditions are suggestive of an autoimmune involvement. I will suggest that you establish contact with a general physician who would initiate care, make the necessary referrals and coordinate care as you both navigate to understand and establish a management plan for your disease.
