What Causes Red Spots On Penis?

Question: Started using clotrimazole as per doctors request for red spots on penis, lot of spots are gone but some aired spots are turning dark . Is this how the cream work?? It's been 5 days I started using the cream! Should I visit the doctor again or wait for 1 more week to heal!! Also I am waiting for all the tests to come back , Iam worried if this is herpes or some thing .

It is unlikely for them to be herpes as herpes would not respond to this cream. Also, herpes spots take longer to dal and they pain so much. I will encourage you to continue with the drug and only seek further assessment after the complete treatment duration. In this time, your results would also be available and more guiding to make any adjustments if need be.

Also, to make sure there is nothing we are missing out on, I will like that you provide an image for independent review. This way, more insights and a personalized response would be offered to you.

Also, spots rarely heal without a change in color. It would take sometime for these spots to return to the same color as the surrounding skin.

Doctor sorry for the late reply it was night time for me. I have attached the photos while taking photos I can see lot of red spots are gone but I feel there is little inflammation of the cream. Please review and let me know if the spots are healing and should I be worried about the herpes??
