Question: Hi, I am 35, and I am trying to conceive from past 1 year. My last periods date is 14 December and 22 December HSG tube test is normal. my periods are 43 days late , the home pregnancy test is negative. My doctor has prescribed me Sustain 300mg gelatin capsule twice a day for 1 week. And after 1 week wait for periods. Does this medicine has any impact on periods?

My doctor has asked me second day of periods start siphene 50mg tablet. So I am continue susten or not? Please suggest. I am really worried.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Siphene from tomorrow
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Susten is progesterone which will delay the periods till you will take it.
Once you stop taking Susten, the periods will occur within5-7 days of stopping the drug.
Iwill suggest you to start taking Siphene from tomorrow onwards, as you have got withdrawal bleeding today.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
