What Causes Reddish Patches On Skin, Stomach And Thighs?
Question: I have reddish patches on my skin, stomach, top of thigh. They are not really scaly (although my skin is somewhat dry now due to winter). They do not itch. My skin has been more itchy this winter. I have been using more moisturizing creams (Eucerin). This has helped some.

I noticed a small patch about a week ago. This morning I noticed more patches on my stomach, about 3, and one larger one on my upper thigh. I have only used Eucerin moisturizing cream. It does not itch. I am experiencing a very bad allergy attack this morning. My head is congested, runny nose, eyes, sneezing. I wonder if this has any connection.

Brief Answer:
Looks like Pityriasis rosea,harmless condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
You seem to have developed pityriasis rosea which is basically a harmless and self limiting skin condition .
It usually appears along with an episode of cold or follows it .
There is development of round to oval reddish scaly skin lesions over trunk
and upper thigh and upper arms .
These usually need no treatment other than regular application of moisturisers.
Since you are unable to provide pictures ,check this condition on Internet and see if your lesions are similar .
Get back to me after confirming or try to provide pictures.
