What Causes Reddish Rashes On Face And Neck After Usage Of Face Freshener?

Question: I sprayed some new face freshener yesterday night and I think it hasn't agreed with me. I have a reddish rash all over my face and neck and it is itchy. I am attaching a pic. I need to travel tomorrow and need to get rid of this asap. Please suggest what I could do.
Brief Answer:
Contact dermatitis; Moderately potent topical steroid
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through hour query and I have also reiewed the image.
You seem to have developed contact dermatitis to the product that you used on face.
I suggest you to apply a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g either mometasone furoate 0.1% or triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% Or fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream, twice daily.
You may also take a tablet of cetrizine 10 mg once daily for symptomatic relief from itching

There is swelling around my eye and face region today .XXX
Brief Answer:
Swelling is part of inflammation; Oral steroid can be aded for fast respons
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Swelling is part of the inflammation that accompanies contact dermatitis. For a faster response, I would also like to start you on a short course of an oral steroid e.g tablet prednisolone for a week, in addition to topical steroid cream and cetrizine tablet suggested earlier. Oral steroids are faster acting as compared to topical treatment alone and thus help resolve swelling, redness, itching faster. Oral steroids are prescription medications and should be always be used under supervision of your local doctor.
