I am facing this problem 3rd time from last 3 months. This problem started 3 months ago while cleaning the penis with soap. Acc. To me this problem is soap induced. At that time I applied soframycin cream for 7 days on meatus. But it is now reoccurring again. Please suggest me the best treatment for this

Brief Answer:
The meatal red swelling likely to be allergic reaction.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to,HCM.
Well your concern is understandable.
As an Urologist, i must point out to you, kindly avoid using soap directly on the meatus. You're right that it's likely to be an allergic type reaction to the soap you're using.
Avoid lime based soaps and moisture remaining over your the genitalia.
After checking your blood sugar, see your doctor, who will examine that area,
and advise, whether a better ointment and antibiotic is needed.
Hope your doubt is cleared. Feel free to contact me anytime.
Wish you well.
