Question: Feeling nausea and with a lump feeling in my gut I stopped taking pain meds for rotator cuff pain that I had been on for 8 weeks 3 days ago. Meds are Naproxen 500mg, Tramadol 50mg, and Acetaminophen 325mg. could I now be experiencing withdrawal. Restlessness, yawning, loose bowel.

Brief Answer:
Well.......

Detailed Answer:
these are very common symptoms to have. many people have them

Tramadol withdrawal is mild but it is pretty rare; I have never seen it except psychologically.

for that matter I have commonly seen stomach irritation from naproxen! wouldn't give yawning (although sleepiness IS listed in the pdr as a side effect from both!

frankly I think coincedence explains both symptoms for you and in the pdr.

there is an obvious way to prove it.

ideally would be to have Tramadol and naproxen put into identical capsules in separate bottles that do not tell you which is which. if you found the symptoms changed with one then that would be the one you are having withdrawal from

real physical narcotic withdrawal peaks at 3 days after stopping and dwindles after about 3 more days.
psychological withdrawal is HIGHLY VARIABLE. often it peaks hours after stopping. it does not necessarily have a smooth curve but can have waves. it is often triggered by psychology and not pharmacology! so, a place or circumstance will trigger it and it can last a short time.

oddly enough treatment for both is similar:
don't take the drug
you can take a mild drug to lower symptoms like Imodium
note the thoughts feelings sensations but in a context of getting off of them

there is a huge difference between withdrawal.....which this could be describing
and addiction which is a thought disorder. if we are having a reasonable conversation then there isn't addiction
