What Causes Retrograde Ejaculation Post A Prostate Surgery?
Retrograde ejaculation common after prostate surgery
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
What you have described is what we term 'retrograde ejaculation'. You had an endoscopic prostate surgery and this causes your bladder neck to open up so that you have a good urine flow. The bladder neck is the valve like mechanism which prevents Semen from going back into the bladder at the time of orgasm when the Semen us discharged out through the ejaculatory ducts at the XXXXXXX if prostate. Once the bladder neck is opened at the time of TURP, the Semen tends to go towards the shortest widest route available and with the absence of the valvular mechanism, easily enters the bladder and is later harmlessly excreted out when you pass urine. This does not interfere with the sensation of orgasm or erection. You need not have any surgery for this or take any medicine as obviously your urine flow will again become slow.
Hope I have been able to help you.
Regards.
