What Causes Right Arm Pain After Radiation For Breast Cancer?
Question: After having radiation for my breast cancer on my left side I started experiening pain in my right arm. It is painful to reach, open a bottle of pills, put my shirt on, open a jar, etc. Do you think this would have to do with my radiation? I've never had this before happen.

Pain in right arm may be related to radiotherapy in left breast cancer.
Radiotherapy may cause pain,edema,restriction of movement in ipsilateral(same side)or contralateral(opposite side)arm.
In same side involvement,it is easily explained but exact cause of contralateral involvement is not clearly understood.It need further evaluation in opposite side involvement.
Generally,it is a temporary phase and it only require conservative treatment.
