Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to HCM
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is due to compression of median nerve at wrist joint.
It can be due to Thyroid disorder, pregnancy, Joint disease or any other cause.
The treatment consists of physiotherapy, correction of Thyroid abnormalities or joint disease.
The drugs for pain relief like Pregabalin, Amitryptiline can be used along with pain killers.
Injection of steroid in joint is the next step and can be repeated if required.
Lastly operative measures with release of carpal tunnel sheath can be done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Do get back with further queries.
