What Causes Right-sided Abdominal Problem And Weakness In Fingers After A Stroke?
Question: Hi Dr. Koregol,
Had 4 bypasses this past Nov. Stroke 2 days later. Breathing machine for 3 weeks. Right side problems. 3 weeks of mainly walking rehab got me up and moving good. Still have weekness in 1st finger and thumb of right hand. super sensitive.
Today is March 6th, about 4 months later, and have developed a consistent pain under my collarbone, up to my neck, both sides. Cannot sleep on either side - which I have been able to do - after about 6 weeks.
I am no longer wearing the nitro patch with no chest problems.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks.

Brief Answer:
Following advice.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
Your symptoms aren't typical for cardiac problems and most likely may be related to:
- Tonsillitis
- Pharyngitis
- Neck and chest muscle damage
If you were my patients I would recommend as follows:
- Apply hot bags over the chest and neck muscles.
- Use Oral antiseptics for tonsillitis to ease the pain
- Use advil 2-3 capsules per day.
If the pain will persist more than a day, or it will become worse you should contact your cardiologist for further examinations.
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
