What Causes Right-sided Flank Pain, Diarrhea And Nausea While Treating UTI?
Question: I have had right flank pain that circles to under my right rib cage. I was diagnosed with UTI 2 days ago and am taking an antibiotic. For past two day, I have awful diarrhea, very nauseous. Just feel at a loss.

You probably have urinfection and your digestive symptoms may be caused by antibiotics. You should finish antibiotic course and if diarrhea become severe you should switch to a another antibiotic. Also,drink plenty of fluids and take probiotics. After 2 days,you should do ultrasound of kidneys and gallbladder. Wish you good health. Regards

Can antibiotic reactions change? I have been on macrobid many times and have been totally fine. Even as recently as 2 months ago.
