Brief Answer:
Neurotropic medication like methylcobalamine and pregabalin will reduce pai

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have studied your case.

If your MRI says herniating disc then this can lead to compression of exiting nerve root which later on supply right lower limb [leg].Due to compression of this nerve root there is tingling numbness in your leg and pain associated with it.

Neurotropic medication like methylcobalamine and pregabalin will reduce pain; you can take them consulting your treating doctor.

You may consult physiotherapist for further guidance. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.
Spine extension exercises will help you.

I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
MRI shows disc compressing on nerve root then surgical decompression is permanent solution.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Take care.

I am on Lyrica, I do even have a tens machine at home. I have been having
physiotherapy, chiropractor, message therapist, due to accidents and shoulder,'left last fall, I had a suspicion that since the chanel that the sciatica sits in is narrowing due to osteoarthritis and degenerating disc that back surgery is the only way to
final relief, but my question was is this typical of sciatica or could it be something else and we have been going down the wrong road, I did just recently have a cystocopy, due to bladder infections, 2x bladder repair one 1977 due to hysteroctomy at a very young age and one in 2009, a couple of small cyst on the right kidney as well as angioplastia on the right kidney.
thanks

Brief Answer:
Yes symptoms suggest sciatica can be reason for pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Yes symptoms suggest sciatica can be reason for pain.

MRI spine and CT abdomen and pelvis will help to confirm diagnosis.

Bladder and kidney will not lead to radicular leg and foot pain.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
