hello and welcome to health care magic, I am Dr Sriram Nathan, an ENT surgeon and I will try to help you out with your problem You seem to have a history of painful sinuses and since you have a pain in the face right now, I would assume that it will also be related to sinuses You can try steam inhalation with any vaporizer and also take only warm fluids In any case I would generally recommend you to take a mild pain killer like paracetamol in consultation with your doctor. In any pain involving the face I would almost always rule out sinus problem by recommending a CT PNS and treat the same if infected with an appropriate antibiotic and antihistamine combination. Your doctor will know about this. Considering the above my advice to you is that if the pain does not go away by routine pain killers then you must consult an ENT as soon as possible Hope this helps and if you do have any other queries you can get back to me regards Dr Sriram Nathan
