What Causes Ringing In Ears Of A BP Patient?

Question: I have a family history of stroke (both grandmothers and my younger sister who was 53). I'm 67, in good health, but I take meds for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and low thyroid. Lately, when I get up from a sitting position, I'm a little uncoordinated in my legs and have a slight ringing in my ears. Am I in danger? Should I get a CT or MRI scan?
Brief Answer:
This could be due to postural hypotension.
