Brief Answer:
The yellow coloration will fade away.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The bilirubin rising just after the birth of the baby is a physiological jaundice. This rise in bilirubin gradually comes back to the normal levels. The yellow discoloration of the sclera of eyes and the gums is due to the staining caused by the yellow pigment. This is not suggestive of jaundice now.
This discoloration of eyes will gradually come to normal in next 3-4 weeks. Please do not worry. The bilirubin levels will not rise now.
