What Causes Scaly Lesions Over Head Of Penis?
Question: Res. Sir,
Since last one month, my penis has an external problem. I am uploading two snaps of penis. I don't understand the reason of it. Till date, I have not taken any medicines nor applied any ointment. The layer removes automatically and again it comes. Whats the matter ? Is any thing serious ? Please help.

Brief Answer:
Suggestive of psoriasis.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Sir, Hi
Good morning!
I appreciate your concern for the scaly lesions over the head of your penis.
After having gone through the history and the uploaded snaps, I am of the opinion that you are suffering from a condition referred to as Psoriasis.
It is a long-term skin problem that causes skin cells to grow too quickly, resulting in thick, white, silvery, or red patches of skin. It is thought that psoriasis occurs when the immune system overreacts, causing inflammation and flaking of skin.
It is not a serious condition but can be easily treated.
So please consult a dermatologist for proper examination and appropriate treatment.
Take care.
