Question: My boyfriends penis is getting cut/sliced/scraped when we have sex. we have been in a monogamous relationship for 8 months and have not had any issues until 2 weeks ago. The first instance was originally thought to be friction burns, so we gave it four days to heal, and then had sex again. This seemed to 're-injure' or cause the mostly healed lacerations to open up again. This time we went to a clinic, the MD examined his penis, said it wasn't an infection and looked like friction burns. she then examined me, I had no symptoms, but decided it was better to be safe. she did a swab test, and told me I had a bacterial infection AND a yeast infection. again, I had no symptoms. so I started the week of antibiotics and vagasil,my boyfriend also had a cream he applied, we waited a whole week, to have sex again. last night, immediately after sex he had developed the same abrasions just under the head of his penis. They are very shallow scrapes going around the shaft. he says he feels as if something inside of me if scraping him. I do not have an IUD, and have tried exploring to see if I can feel anything. if there is something it would be 7-8 inches up and I can't find it. both of us are clean, we don't use condoms, he has had a vasectomy. We were having sex for about 8 months before this issue arose, and it has happened the past 3 times we have had sex.

we went to a clinic and were both treated for a bacterial infection, as I mentioned I had no symptoms but completed the week of antibiotics and vagisil. There was no difference. The location of the abrasions depends on the position we are in... missionary left the first set on the top part of the penis, the second time was from behind standing up and resulted in the marks on the bottom part, last night back to missionary left the marks on just the top.
