What Causes Sebaceous Cyst In The Scrotum?

Question: I think i have a sebaceous cyst on my left scrodum. it's located above my testicles. it felt like this little grain on sand about 2 months ago, but now today its the size of a small pea. how can I treat this. I have no allergy and have no medical history. Thank you

A sebaceous cyst in the scrotum can appear the size of a pea and grow further. It should not be scratched by yourself and that may lead to infection, pain and discomfort. It is best that you consult a dermatologist and they will excise the cyst by following aseptic precautions. It is an office procedure with minimal pain. You should be home in a couple of hours after the procedure. You can resume normal activities from the next day itself.
