Question: I had a lap assisted vaginal hysterectomy about a month ago. I just fell on my tailbone pretty hard. Abdomen does not hurt. Should I be concerned?

Brief Answer:
No need to get worried

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
If there is no direct trauma to the abdominal or vaginal area, and there is no pain is there, then there is nothing to worry.
There are absolutely no chances of trauma or injury to the surgical site.
However, keep a track of abdominal or vaginal pain, and consult your doctor in case any of it happens.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

So I have taken Motrin and used ice as my tailbone area really is hurting. At times when standing up after sitting or walking the pain is awful. 7/10. Is that normal for coccyx injury? It is hurting more now then it did this morning.

Brief Answer:
Coccygeal fracture should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
There is a possibility of coccygeal fracture.
I will suggest you to consult an orthopaedic surgeon for proper examination, X Ray and further management should be done accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
