Brief Answer:
Pressure on nostril.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Nose picking is the primary cause of nose bleeding. So do not touch or put finger into the nostril. Check the blood pressure as well.
If there active bleeding, sit on a couch, pinch the nostril in between the thumb and index finger and bend the head in between the knees. This will minus the gravity and pressure for 5 to 10 minutes will reduce the bleeding. You should breath with mouth open during this procedure.
Once you think there is no active bleeding please see a local doctor for packing or check for other active bleeding points. If there are points at the back the doctor can pack with cotton and guage and neosporin cream.

You can see an ENT specialist for laser treatment to cauterize some points and try to find the cause of bleeding.

But the above process has to follow each and every time you have bleeding till the cause of the bleeding is unaddressed.

Hi Doctor, you did not understand my question. I am bleeding from the skin pores on the outside and on top of the nose; not from inside the nose. I have attached a picture too.

Brief Answer:
Petechial spots

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for attaching picture and making me understand.
Your picture shows petechial spots on the nose, it means the superficial tiny capillaries on the nose are leaking the blood. You can confirm this by putting pressure. If they are not fading on pressure it is blood else it is a rash.

You should get blood investigations done now.
CBC, Coagulation profile, Kidney function, Liver function.

These are primary tests after which we may arrive at the reason for the petechial spots. In the elderly over 60 years there are many reasons for such blood leaking into the skin.

So I suggest an evaluation sooner with blood tests.
