Question: My son was eating chic noodle soup and some went down the wrong pipe. He has been coughing a lot and throwing up and is still coughing. I put him in a hot shower to help him breath where he is still. Should I take him to ER?

Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:
Dear parent , I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but I would recommend that you take him to the ER for an urgent X-ray Chest to determine if there is any food particles down his bonchi or lung tissue .. if X-ray confirmed the presence of food particles down his bronchi or lung tissue then he will need an bronchoscopy to get these food particles out in order to avoid aspiration pneumonia . I hope I answered your question . if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion .
