What Causes Severe Cough, Chocking Sensation In The Throat, Chills And Fever?

Question: hi. i am facing extereme cough since last 5 days and today i am feeling chocking in my thtoat with lot of chills on body and bit of feverish with coughing.

Please take any anti cold preparation half tablet four times a day

Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM,

Please take any anti cold preparation half tablet four times a day, a cough syrup, and paracetamol 500 half four times a day along with gargles with salt/Alum/or Potassium permanganate.
If there is improvement, you can continue for 3-5 days.

But if choking is severe, or there is breathlessness please see a doctor immediately.
