What Causes Severe Cough With Brown Phlegm And High Fever?
Question: Hi
I am 29 years old . Fell ill on 17/9/2015 ::I started coughing that day and went to doctor . He checked my Fever it was. 101.2 ... He gave me advent 625 twice a day ; zeegut and veloz d along with this he asked me to take nebuliser Duolin and beudicort mixed and for Fever he gave me calpol650. The next day my condition worsened I had cough with yellow and brownish phelgm (bulgam) .. The Fever XXXXXXX to 103 and was present all day inspite of taking paracetamol.. I went to doctor again he told me it's a case of viral but u get dengue tested after 1 more day wait ... The third day Fever stayed out 101.5 and cough was also there
The fourth day my Fever went down and cough is also less .. For the full 4th day I had no Fever except a single time reading of 98.9(once only
Today being fifth day I have taken no Fever medicine but taking advent and nebuliser as advised but I have cough and bulgam although it's 40% of first day.. All through day my Fever was ok and now it's 99... My dengue report is negative .. Please suggest shall I take Fever medicine now again and does viral behave like this ... Is it normal

Thank you for the reply prassana mam.. I forgot to mention i had chest xray as well which was ok ... I am advised advent till today and from today onward i have to take azithromycin500 for next 3 days od al

I am recovering but i feel a lot of weakness yet ...i kept sitting at home with my guests and lasr night aagain got 99.4 fever... Today morning it was 97.5. May be it was due to exertion?.. Please suggest how to cover up this weakness as this is the first time it happened to me.. Moreover can i watch movies or play tv games if i am resting at home ...cough and chest are better
