What Causes Severe Digestive Issues Post Normaxin Withdrawal?

default
Posted on Sat, 22 Oct 2016
Question: I was taking Normaxin for my IBS for a month as prescribed by my doctor. Now the course is over and I have severe digestion issues again. Feel nauseated all the time with severe gas problems and stomach ache. Is this anyway related to stopping the Normaxin? Are these withdrawal symptoms?

Brief Answer:
Possible IBS relapse

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam

I can certainly understand your concern.

These symptoms are partly related to switch off from Normaxin.

But nevertheless majority of your issues are a part of IBS spectrum.Hence your current symptoms are considered to be a IBS relapse.

At this point , it's advisable to consider alternative medications.

I generally prescribe oral pills of IBSET and Rafle 200 to control the symptoms.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.

Post your further questions if any.
Thank you.
