What Causes Severe Ear Pain While Treating Cough And Cold?
Question: I had a cold and cough for a week. Then I got a ear pain. I neglected the first day. Second day realised some discharge. I went to the doctor the third day and did an endoscopy and realized the the ear drum has ruptured and there is a blood clot behind the ear drum. Will that blood clot dissolve on its own for the ear drops prescribed for me? I was also prescribed Augmenting. Please advise.

I have been complaining about hearing loss for the past 8 years. However, the audiogram reports,abr,oae,ct scan , mri,tymp test etc etc has been normal. Still I have great difficulty in hearing especially in noisy environments like restaurants or even during meetings. Do you think the recent AOM is related to that?
02. Pleese check my endoscopy and let me know whether medicine alone is sufficent or will I have to undergo additional procedure to clear out the current mess in my ear.
