Posted on Tue, 20 Sep 2016
Question: My husband is extremely tired, can not get enough to drink, gets dizzy when he gets up and starts moving. He can't think, his vision has gotten blurry some. What I found was maybe he was dehydrated. Could this be what's wrong with him?

Brief Answer:
Metabolic conditions to be considered.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Being thirsty for so long probably is not just dehydration, in my opinion, your husband should be evaluated further about conditions such diabetes type 2, and diabetes insipidus along with a serial recording of the blood pressure.

It is necessary to meet your husband's primary care Doctor and to discuss with him about these issues and blood, urine tests needed to evaluate these conditions in details.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Greetings.
