Why Have My Nails And Hairs Become Curly?

Why have my nails and hair become curly? I have had a thyroidectomy and removal of a supracellar tumor in the past 4 years. I have catemenial epilepsy, take levoxil, keppra, zonegran, dilantin, desmopressin (for diabetes insipidis), tenormin, calcium and vitamin d.

Hi.
As per your case history of curling of hair and nails, my treatment advice is -
1. Curling of hair is completely genetic. So it cannot be reversed.
2. Curling of nails can be due to multivitamin deficiency.
3. Take an iron supplement and vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are oral antifungals and injectable multivitamins given only after consulting a dermatologist.
