What Causes Severe Headache And Neck Stiffness?
Question: Sir from last 2 weeks was having this headache heaviness n posted question over here dy told me to visit neurologist n dy checked me n prescribed these medicines n told me that if theres no difference get a ct scan n aftr hvng mcds first five days everything ws normal no headache nothing n dn again felt headache over frontal head n neck stiffness n upper back of head n jst cm bk aftr ct scan of head n report is normal now what to do sir

Thanku sir for replying n duration of headache its like i never noticed bt it starts anytime like wn i get in d morning its all ok but after sometime it starts n dn it gets over and headache is Intense and its throbbing like n lil bit nausea no vomit n sensitivity to light n sound nothing as such n yes i do skip meals sometimes n sleeping pattern is disturbed i sleep very late like 3 or 4 am daily it hs become a habit n no family history of migraine awaiting ur reply sir

In my patients with similar complains I prefer to give trial of naxdom 500 mg twice daily for 5 days with omeprazole once daily empty stomach.
The continuous prophylaxis with amitriptyline or flunarizine may be started later if no response occurs.
