Question: My CRP is 8.4. Sed rate is slightly elevated also. My joints ache like crazy in my shoulders, neck and wrist. I feel stiff as well. I wonder what it could all mean. I have also been having chest pressure and numbness from the right side of my chest going from my sternum to my right pectoral area. I wonder if it's all tied in together

Brief Answer:
You should go for RA factor & ANA.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have slightly high esr and crp. It suggest some inflammatory disease. You have joint pain also. So it may be due to some inflammatory arthritis.

You should go for RA factor and ANA test. Till that you can take analgesic drug like ibuprofen or diclofenac sodium.

Your tightness in chest and retrosternal pain is not related to high esr. It may be due to some other reason.

Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
