What Causes Severe Lower Abdominal Pain?

Question: i have lower abdomen pain not able to sleep straight or Sit. This pain is too much whenever i change the body position, either sitting, sleeping or standing. I got the same pain a month back and i thought it was because of gastric. But i did not consult a doctor

Thanks for posting a query to HCM.
There are so many reasons for the acute pain abdomen the most common being
renal stones
muscle spasm
appendicitis
pelvic inflammatory disorder
menstrual pains
worm infestation.

It is very difficult to diagnose the cause only by asking the questions. Through physical examination need to be done. And i suggest you to get an Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis done which will help in ruling out the cause.

For instant relief you can take TAB.BUSCOPAN or TAB.HIFENAC SPAS. 1 tablet

thanks doctor. will the scanning center directly do the scan if i tell them to do the ultrasound abdomen and Pelvis. or will they ask handwritten prescription. Please advise and should i do in empty stomach.

Doctor, i have attached the Urine test and Scan report. Please note yeserday was my first day of my periods. Please advise what is the cause of my Stomach ache.

But there is a small echogenic foci in the cervix as per your ultrasound reports.
I suggest you to confirm the diagnosis by a clinical examination with a good gynaecologist.

there is some issue with my urine test as well. Leukocytes shows 13-15hpf so i am told by the lab technician that i have urine infection. Can you please review the urine test result again.

I'm really sorry XXXXXXX i did not see your 2nd report attached. ya you do have the Urinary tract infection. You can start on TAB. OFLOXACIN 200mg 1 tablet 2 times for 5 days. and SYR. CITRALKA 5ml to be mixed in water and taken 3 times a day for 5 days.Usually these medicines are available on prescription by a doctor. But before this i would suggest you to give the urine samples for culture and sensitivity test.
