Brief Answer:
a couple of suggestions

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
I have a few suggestions for you.
Occasionally a small fracture will not show up on an xray. If your symptoms are getting worse you may need a new xray to make sure there is no fracture.
If there is no fracture, it may be that you have damaged some of the cartilage, tendons or ligaments, and that could be flaring up on you. A physical therapist may be able to help you figure out what is going on and design a treatment plan for you to get rid of the pain.
Additionally a chiropractor may be able to help if there is no fracture.
If the pain is severe a spine specialist in your are may be necessary.
In the mean time, use ibuprofen for inflammation, warm compresses and gentle stretching (no straining). See your doctor to see if he or she thinks another xray is indicated.
I hope this is helpful
