![default](/r/images/default.png)
Before I spend 3 hours in the ER waiting room, I want to be sure they aren't just going to give me a muscle relaxer and send me on my way. Any help you can provide is appreciated.
Cheers,
XXXX
Can be related to enteric infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
It says that you started with the problems 4 days ago with severe low backache, bloating, gas pains and now today got severe headache and feeling very thirsty.
Pain increases on eating, medication history noted.
My thoughts:
Your problems looks to be due to infection of the intestines causing you the pain and bloating in the stomach and the low backache can be a reflex one. The sort of septicemia can cause severe headache and make one thirsty.
This can happen in enteric infection of many sorts, particularly when there is gram negative infection, hence may not give the classical symptoms of gastroenteritis in every case.
I would advise you to discuss this with your Doctor/ER Doctor so that further investigations can be conducted and a proper clinical evaluation done and proper prescription of an antibiotic and supportive and symptomatic treatment will be given to you.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
