What Causes Severe Pain In Feet?

Probably plantar fascitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
From your history, it looks like a case of plantar fascitis i.e. inflammation of the tissue covering the sole and heel of feet. This is not an uncommon problem and can be treated with some simple measures.
If such patients come to my clinic, I generally advise for using soft padded sole shoes throughout the day, totally avoid bare foot walking, do plantar fascia stretching exercises, alternate hot and ice compression 2-3 times a day and taking painkillers like aceclofenac-thiocolchicoside, ibuprofen or diclofenac orally or as local gel application. Also blood test for blood sugar and uric acid is important as such patients are prone to have high levels of these.
You can talk to your family or treating physician about the above and get these prescribed.
Get back to me with the reports or any further queries.
Hope this was useful.
Regards.
