What Causes Severe Pain In Ribs After A Stomach Surgery?
Question: yes please i had stomach surgery last year they went thourgh the left side of the ribs!!! ever since then i have sevre constant pain!!! i can not hardly function what could be the cause!!! and what do i do

This requires drugs like tramadol, codeine, opiods, etc. Should these fail to address your symptoms within 1-2weeks, then a neuropathic pain should be considered. Neuropathic pain is often manage with gabapentin and amytryptylline and often requires as many as 3weeks before benefits can kick in. By doing this, we would be able to at least address the pain and improve your quality of life if the cause is not immediately evident.
