
What Causes Severe Pain In The Knee After Knee Replacement Surgery?

I had 2 knee replacements, left knee 2007, Right knee 2009 giving me a lot of pain before and especially since my left Reverse Shoulder Replacement in Feb. 8, do you have a lot of suggestions, lperhaps food to make arthritis betteri and extreme stiffness. I am going to PT. II have aspirin allergy so No NSAIDS. I,m taking tylenol and tramadol.May 30 the pain dr is going to give me 3 shots, sounds like generative, diagnostic.

The common cause of pain after knee replacement us usually weak bones or Osteoporosis and loosening of the implant.
I would recommend you get an Xray of birth the knees to rule this out.
You can take diet with Turmeric or Curcumin which is a natural Antiinflammatory agent. You can also apply a transdermal skin adhesive patch of Bupivacaine called Buvalor which is available with prescription only. This is extremely good for pain relief since it isn't an NSAID but more effective than Tramadol.
Hot fomentation and physiotherapy to strengthen the VMO and Quadriceps are important.
