What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Legs?
Question: I've been having pain in my legs, tingly and spasams. The worst pain is in my lower legs below my knees. My lower back hurts also. It started in January, after i started running ob the treadmill. Im a 49 year old black male, currently 324lbs. My docter gave prescribed meloxicam, which i took. However i still have pain. I went back to rhe docter on tuesday, after i discribed trhe pain again, whicich included knee pain, thigh pain. Adter he examined said i have extremly flat feet, and the cause of my pain is tarsal tunnel syndrom. He prescribed
Methylptedisolone for the information, and to use arches in my athletic shoes. My legs and back hurt after i stand for a while. All i read in regard to TTS is more of a XXXXXXX issue. Your thoughts?

Tarsal tunnel is more related to foot issues and causes pain in legs and feet. The pain in the back could be postural or due to a muscle spasm. You can take methyl prednisolone as prescribed and see if it helps. For back pain it is better to take rest and start with an oral muscle relaxant. Doing a hot compress will also help.
