Brief Answer:
Have a MRI cervical spine to rule out cervical spondylosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. In my opinion you need to have a MRI cervical spine to rule out the exact cause as between the bones of the spine there are small discs that help cushion the spine. If the protective covering of a disc becomes damaged, then the gelatinous interior can bulge out, which is known as a herniated disc. A herniated disc of the neck can result in severe pain, numbness and a tingling sensation. The numbness can radiate to other areas, including the left arm, shoulder and chest.
Cervical spondylosis is the other common cause which can cause such symptoms.
Treatment:
As you have tried common pain relief medication if you were my patient I will definitely suggest you to have muscle relaxants, such as cyclobenzaprine and if the pain still persists after that your doctor may suggest steriod injections to decrease the inflammation.

Secondly you have asked about prolonged bleeding till now after surgery so it is advisable to have a APTT and PT with INR test and avoid aspirin for pain as it causes more bleeding. If you were my patient I will suggest you to take tablet.Ethamsylate 500mg once daily for 3 days and watch if there is any change

Hope this answers your query. Get back if you have any related queries.

Dr.Alekhya.
