What Causes Severe Sneezing, Nasal Congestion, Fever And Muscle Pain?

Question: Hi Doc,
For last 2 months when I get up in the morning, I start sneezing profusely and end up having blocked nose and a slight rise in temperature and feel feverish. This leaves me quite shattered, I end up having muscle pain in stomach. To decongest my nose I started talking nasal drop multiple times a day. What I noticed is, if I take Cetirizine tablets I feel better for that day and may be the next day and then the symptoms will repeat. I took one tablet at an interval of 2 -3 days for 3 - 4 times.
But since the symptom lingers on, I now want to take medical opinion. Please note that this was not chronic for me. Just that I had this condition one day and then it keeps on repeating now.
Please suggest what should I do.
Thanks & Regards,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
Allergic rhinitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Based on the description of your symptoms, I believe you to have allergic rhinitis. This may not be chronic but yes, it is recurrent.
The best solution for it is to take Tab Montek LC once in the night for 15 days. This will prevent such episodes for a minimum of a month. Sicne this condition can be seasonal. You may be symptom free rest of the year.
I also, recommend you to avoid dust and cold weather.
Use a mask often when outdoors.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
