What Causes Severe Sore Throat When Diagnosed With Crohn's Disease?

Question: Hi doctor I have chrons disease and over the weekend I had a really sore throat on the left hand side. That pain has gone away now but my left hand side tonsil is ready swollen and has little yellow bits on it and my right one is a bit swollen too. I am having trouble swallowing food as its getting stuck on the left hand side. Do I need to go to the hospital or can I just wait for my doctors appointment.

I am so sorry to hear about this sore throat. Sounds like you need some antibiotics fro total care seen the fact that you have pus like spots on the tonsils and persistence of pains. For this, you need a doctor's script as antibiotics are not available over the counter. Well, I will say go in earlier and as soon as possible. If that isn't feasible via your regular doctor, an ER visit might not be irresponsible.
